THE POWER OF A YES, THE POWER OF A NO : AHIMSA

We all believe in the power of 'yes', that it relates to positive thinking. We say yes to new opportunities and upgrades in life, say yes to our loved ones. But saying yes, in many ways can be a means of getting approvals in life. Well, Gandhi said no, that was his power.

“A ‘No’ uttered from the deepest conviction is better than a ‘Yes’ merely uttered to please, or worse, to avoid trouble.” - Gandhi

In a world overrun with external stimuli and consumerism lets be conscious of the choices that we make, both through our spoken words and hidden actions.

"As a Yogi becomes firmly grounded in non-violence (ahimsa), other people who come near will naturally lose any feelings of hostility." Yoga Sutras of Patanjali 2.35
